Integral Somatic Psychology™ (ISP™) is a comprehensive, body-oriented therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Raja Selvam to improve therapy outcomes by helping clients embody a wider range of emotions.

It focuses on increasing the capacity of the physical body, energy body, and consciousness to tolerate and process emotions.

ISP™ is based on modern neuroscientific findings that emotions drive cognition and behaviour, and that incomplete emotional processing in the body limits cognitive and behavioural change.

The core principle is that greater embodiment of all emotions—not just pleasant ones—leads to better mental, physical, and spiritual health.

It helps build tolerance for difficult feelings and resolve trauma by integrating emotions where they reside: in the body.

ISP™ works with the physical body, the subtle energy body, and conscious awareness. It integrates Western, Eastern, and Jungian psychology.
